At present, more and more port areas develop offshore financial business. Based on this, this paper first studies the characteristics of offshore financial market, then analyzes the advantages of offshore financial business in the port area, as well as the evaluation method of the part of offshore finance in accelerating the port economy based on big data, and finally analyzes the importance of offshore financial business in the port area.
