Abstract

Currently, there is no unified approach to evaluating the performance of production systems. This is especially true of multi-nomenclature automated productions. Mandatory condition for the comparability of individual units of equipment and production systems is the structural and technological similarity (or identity) of production items. Each unit of equipment manufacturing system is considered isolated from other. The connections of the existing production system with others are most often ignored. This article shows that numerical performance characteristics can be considered as measures of the effectiveness of a multi-nomenclature metalworking productions. The dependences of performance characteristics on the conditions of production realization are proposed. The efficiency assessment cannot be obtained on the basis of a single numerical characteristic of production.
