Abstract

The probability density that a polymer loop conformation encloses an area A is calculated using white noise functional approach. In this approach, the paths of the polymer conformation, x(ν) and y(ν), are parametrized in terms of Brownian motion. Evaluation of the path integral describing the system is then facilitated using the T‐transform in white noise analysis.
