Abstract

This paper takes the manufacturing industry in the three northeastern provinces as the research object. It establishes an index system based on the connotation of high-quality development of the manufacturing industry from six aspects: development efficiency, green development, innovation-driven, quality brand, people's livelihood sharing, and openness, and measures it used the entropy-weight-TOPSIS method. The results show that, on the whole, the manufacturing industry in Northeast China has been steadily improving, and there are differences in the level of high-quality development of the manufacturing industry among the three provinces in Northeast China, showing that Liaoning is the highest, Jilin the second highest and Heilongjiang the lowest. From each subdivision dimension, there are also differences in the indicators of high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the three provinces.
