Abstract

Genital prolapse is a serious problem affecting patients of all ages. According to a number of domestic authors, pelvic organ prolapse occurs in 28-40% of cases in the structure of gynecological diseases, foreign sources give a frequency of 31-50%. Given the fact that the increase in the number of postmenopausal women does not tend to decrease in all countries of the world, the problem of prolapse and prolapse of the genital organs becomes more urgent every year.
