Abstract
SUMMARYAbout fifty derivatives and analogues of procaine have been prepared and tested in three different tests for activity against powdery mildew of cucumber. Most of the compounds were active but few equalled procaine.The results obtained seem to afford little evidence for simple structure‐activity relationship based on physico‐chemical or electro‐chemical properties.
