Abstract
According to the mathematical model for the road-induced noise deduced, local stiffness and noise sensitivities at chassis-body connection points are important in evaluating the interior noise of low frequency range as well as modal analysis of car body and acoustic cavity. A rigid-elastic coupled model of full vehicle, an acoustic-structure interaction model of the car body and a roughness road model were built. The interior noise near the driver's ear was analysed, including measurements of Input Point Inertance (IPI) and Noise Transfer Function (NTF) at body joints, Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) and Transfer Path Analysis (TPA).
