Abstract

Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a proliferative vitreoretinopathy affecting premature infants which a leading cause of childhood blindness worldwide. Screening is scheduled according to gestational age and birth weight to detect ROP development and to determine the appropriate timing of treatment. Screening also identified any risk factors for ROP development. Aim of this study is to evaluate risk factors, choice of treatment and outcome based on severity of ROP.
