Abstract

Results of mechanical tests of adhesive, welded and weld-bonded joints are presented. Test results for weld-bonded and welded joints were obtained for changing of the number of weld points from 2 to 4. Samples were produced using TsMK-3 epoxy glue with boron nitride as a filler in the amount of 40 pts wt. It was established that the static strength of weld-bonded joints with two or three weld points is 82.6 and 33.3% higher than that of analogous welded joints. The peculiarities of application of the methods of similarity theory when processing the results of mechanical tests were considered. Similarity constants were determined for weld-bonded and welded joints, and it was shown that they are constant at different test temperatures.
