Abstract

In this work an algorithm is proposed for estimating the physical parameters of surface layers of materials subjected to processing. The task of analyzing the state of materials is a modern and relevant material science task. At the present time, metal, ceramic, dielectric materials for various purposes have become widespread. Depending on the state of their sub-surface layers, their operational characteristics change. These characteristics are to some extent determined by external influences, especially mechanical. That is why, there is a problem of physical parameters estimation, which can be solved by innovative methods, for example, using acoustic waves. The paper presents the results of the development of new methods of research materials – methods of acoustic spectroscopy of flaw and study with their help the physical parameters of the subsurface layers.
