Abstract
This study on the assessment of pheromone lure and resistance to insecticides in citrus leaf miner Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton revealed that there were maximum trap catches of adults from the last week of July to second week of August. The LC50 values of dimethoate 30EC and imidacloprid 17.8SL in the field and nursery were 81.19, 87.18, and 47.42, 43.35 ppm, respectively. At Katol, these values were 79.76, 76.77 and 46.30, 47.48 ppm, respectively. The samples of P. citrella analysed indicated the increasing resistance to dimethoate 30EC in acid lime nursery at Akola. For imidacloprid 17.8SL, at Katol on Nagpur mandarin there was exhibition of resistance.
