Abstract
Breast cancer is the most common site-specific cancer among women and is the leading cause of cancer death among women aged 20 to 59 years. Breast cancer occurrence is not uniform throughout the breast. About 65% of breast cancer occur in the lateral half of the breast (55% in the upper outer quadrant and 10% in the lower outer quadrant). So great attention is directed towards oncoplastic techniques for laterally located tumors. Many oncoplastic techniques were developed for laterally located breast cancers. Most of these techniques include scars in the breast itself which significantly decrease the aesthetic outcome. Here we introduce a new simple techniques for laterally located breast cancers called lateral sulcus mammoplasty. This approach has several advantages including the ability for patients to undergo a single stage cancer and reconstructive surgery that is aesthetically satisfactory for any breast cup size utilizing a technique that is straight forward and technically easy.
