Evaluation of nursing on acute organophosphate poisoning patients with respiratory failure received mechanical ventilation

Abstract

Objective To study nursing on acute organophosphate poisoning patients(AOPP)withrespiratory failure received mechanical ventilation and explore the effective remedy method．Methods 68 AOPP were analyzed retrospectively and divided into A group(nursing group)and B group(routine group),case- fatality rate,time of mechanical ventilation,time of mechanical ventilation treatment in ICU and hospital onset of infection were observed．Results Case-fatality rate(28.13％)and hospital onset of infeetion(12.5％)in A group were lower than in B group(52.78％.33.33％)respectively.There Was shorter time of mechanical ventilation in A group than in B(71.88±61.40)h,(147.06±21.83)h.The time of mechanical ventilationtreatment in ICU showed no difference between groups．Conclusions The nursing shows better effectiveness on AOPP with respiratory failure received mechanical ventilation and helps to improve remedy.
