Abstract

Logistics management process includes many activities to collect materials and products are at the right place at the right time considering with customer satisfaction. Due to the developing technologies and increasing customer demands, logistics activities get more complex, and therefore firms get professional support from logistics service providers. At this point, choosing the best logistics service provider among many alternatives is critical for the firms and it can be considered in multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problems. In this paper, we use uncertain dynamic intuitionistic fuzzy MADM method in order to choose the best logistics service provider. We evaluate logistics service providers’ performance according to the six attributes at different time periods and the evaluation values take the form of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. We calculate the closeness coefficient of each service providers and we rank them in descending order. We confirm that uncertain dynamic intuitionistic fuzzy multi-attribute decision making method is a useful method for if the values are collected at different time periods.
