Abstract
Nowadays, CO2- and Nd:YAG-lasers are the most implemented sources in industrial laser applications. The increase of industrial applications is strongly related to the reliability of flexible beam delivery and management systems which underlines the importance of developments already made and further developments needed. Therefore, recent work carried out at the Laser Zentrum Hannover is concentrated on the qualification of innovative optical systems for material processings with different laser sources. Investigations have been carried out on beam delivery by an adaptive mirror system for CO2 laser beams and by fibre optics for Nd:YAG lasers.Nowadays, CO2- and Nd:YAG-lasers are the most implemented sources in industrial laser applications.
