Abstract

In order to study the effects of asphalt regenerators on the fatigue properties of mixed asphalt, linear amplitude scanning (LAS) test was designed and four types of regenerators (non-petroleum regenerators NRA and NRB, petroleum regenerators PR and bio-oil based regenerators BR) were mixed. The VECD theory analysis method was used to evaluate the miscible asphalt with different regeneration agents, different new asphalt and different old asphalt. The results showed that: In the process of asphalt regeneration, the peak value of the stress-strain curve will move to the lower right corner. The fatigue factor in the fatigue damage curve decreases slowly with the increase of the internal damage coefficient as the degree of asphalt aging increases. The stress sensitivity of SBS modified asphalt is lower than that of matrix asphalt, and the strain range of LAS test involving modified asphalt needs to be expanded. It can be seen that NRA is the best, BR is the second, NRA and PR are poor.
