Abstract

A descriptive, cross-sectional investigation is presented, whose purpose is the evaluation of disergonomic risks in small and mediumenterprises (SMEs) in Bogotá, assessing the risk factors for musculoskeletal injuries and their levels of harmfulness in three companies corresponding to the metalworking, plastic and timber sectors, evaluating 76 workers in 48 positions; Nordic Questionnaire, Laboratory of Economics and Sociology of Labor method (LEST) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment method (REBA) were applied. It was found that risk factors to common musculoskeletal injuries and with higher prevalence among the companies evaluated are: flexion and lateralizationof the neck and trunk, repetitive movements, flexion / extension of upper extremities and sudden changes in posture. A Pearson correlation study was conducted to verify the relationship between what was expressed by the 76 workers through the Nordic questionnaire and that obtained through the REBA method
