Abstract

Patient specific IMRT QA is performed to detect systematic errors in the treatment plan, transfer, and delivery. However, traditional 2D IMRT QA metrics have poor correlation with clinically relevant patient dose errors. This work aims to evaluate the impact of MLC leaf bank offset errors on dose delivery as measured by a next generation 3D IMRT QA tool that provides clinically relevant dose metrics and per-structure 3D gamma analysis.
