Abstract

Objectives To evaluate the clinical efficacy in treatment of transperitoneal laparoscopic parapelvic cyst unroofing.Methods From June 2004 to December 2011,the clinical data of 30 patients with parapelvic cyst of kidney who underwent laparoscopic renal cyst unroofing was retrospectively analyzed.Of all the cases,19 males and 11 females with mean aged for45 years (18 ~75 years),13 cases in left and 17 cases in right,clinical recovery situation were observed postoperative too.Results The operations were all successful,and no cases convert to open surgery.The mean operative time and bleeding volume in first 12 cases to 18 cases later was 50min to 35min and 20ml to 10ml,respectively.No complications occurred in renal pedicle,renal vascular and renal pelvis,and no urinary leakage postoperative.The average hospital stays after operation was 5 day.No recurrence and canceration was found during 3 ~ 60 months'follow-up in all patients.Conclusions Transperitoneal approach in treatment of laperoscopic parapelvic cyst unroofing has a clear vision,minimally invasive,less bleeding,shorter hospital stay and quick recovery postoperative,which had been recommended as a mature and ideal surgical treatment method for parapelvic cyst.
