Abstract

Based on marine economic growth quality, an evaluation index system considering the following four aspects of the marine economy was constructed: marine comprehensive strength, marine industrial structure, marine ecological environment, and marine scientific research and education. The weight of each evaluation index was determined by the entropy method, and the evaluation model was constructed by set pair analysis. The main factors influencing China's marine economic growth quality were analyzed through regression analysis and obstacle factor analysis. The results suggest the following: 1) The quality of China's marine economic growth is constantly improving, its marine comprehensive strength and industrial structure are slowly increasing with fluctuations, and the marine scientific research and education index is significantly increasing, but the ecological environment index shows a downward fluctuating trend. 2) The results of regression analysis indicate that the industrial structure and comprehensive strength of the marine economy have a dominant influence on its growth quality. 3) Analysis of the "obstacle degree" showed that the proportion of marine-related emerging industries, structural entropy of the marine industry, and number of marine science and technology projects are the main factors that affect the quality of China's marine economic growth. These results suggest that measures such as changing the economic growth mode, optimizing the industrial structure, developing science and technology, and strengthening marine pollution control should be adopted to improve the quality of China's marine economic growth.
