Abstract
• In this study, four artificial neural networks are evaluated for the calibration of Gafchromic™ XR-QA2 film for a radionuclide. • To our knowledge, this film has not been used in nuclear medicine for radionuclide dosimetry . • A new method for film calibration is proposed consisting of a neural network and digital photos taken with a mobile device.
