Abstract
An empirical simulation model is presented. In this analysis, data from three independent field studies are used to evaluate the model. Regression equations are used to relate each of the three model parameters to nitrogen level. Exponential dependence of mean time and time spread upon nitrogen is shown, while total yield follows the logistic equation. Example estimates of cumulative yield over time and of seasonal yield for a selected nitrogen level for the three locations are illustrated.
