Abstract
Due to advances in oncology therapies, patients are increasingly presenting for treatment of new lesions. These new lesions often reside close to areas of previous irradiation which poses significant challenges for treatment planning. To address the challenges of re-irradiation, a software package that can be used to perform rigid and deformable registrations of images and contours, and propagate treatment dose across multiple image sets and modalities was acquired, Velocity (Varian Medical Systems).
