Abstract

Fatigue is a common symptom in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and has a significant impact on patients’ life. This disabling condition and other symptoms are often worsened by high environmental temperature and increase of body temperature (e.g. during physical exercise) limiting patients’ physical activity. In order to improve the quality of life of PwMS (patients with MS), a wide range of cooling methods were tested, all of which showed to improve physical endurance and to prevent symptoms worsening. Aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a cooling vest specifically designed for patients’ daily use.
