Abstract
Highlights A new index for the evaluation of the effect of vortex tools is proposed An evaluation model (SCORE model) was developed to more intuitively predict the effectiveness of using vortex tools The effect of the vortex tools in the actual wells is consistent with the SCORE model prediction points. The SCORE model can predict the effects of vortex tools and provides reference values for determining whether vortex tools are suitable for actual gas field production.
