Abstract

In order to realize the sustainable development and utilization of woody biomass energy resources in Henan province of China, the authors constructed a fitting evaluating system depending on the sustainable development theory and the regionally practical condition there. This system was constructed by three subsystems, six criterion layers and thirty two evaluated indexes belonging to these different subsystems respectively. The weights of evaluated indexes were determined based on AHP hierarchy analyzing theory, and sustainable development capacity of woody biomass energy resources in Henan province was comprehensive evaluated. The developed priority of wood plant is as follows: Pistacia chinensis, Aleurites fordii, Rhus chinensis and Xanthoceras sorbifolia as well as Sapium Sebiserum etc. Oil content, suitable distribution area, burliness quantity and oil composition should be preferentially onsidered, meanwhile, some indexes that effect social economy greater such as acceptance degree of farmers, marginal land use and farmers' income should be considered also. The result clearly indicates that this system can be an effective evaluation tool for woody biomass energy resource before the decision-making for sustainable utilization.
