Abstract

Nowadays, the educational evaluation constitutes a key element to improve the quality of any programme or, in its broadest sense, of the educational system within a country or region scope. In this track we seek to share methodologies and research results about different assessment objects, whose aim is the improvement of the educational system, both at University level and at other levels. On the other hand, this track will present some research experiences in the evaluation and educational orientation field.In the educative evaluation research examples that we present in this document, technology is an essential support, to establish tools for collecting information, for the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and for report writingThe paper provides a general overview of the motivations behind the proposal of this track, including a review of the current state of evaluation and educational orientation, from its origins and a definition of the term to some pending issues for future research, which are addressed by the papers participating in the track and which hopefully will be expanded by future studies. The paper also includes an insight on the submission management and participants' selection process, which is followed by a detailed summary of the manuscripts accepted for participation in the conference and how they are linked to the track objectives
