Abstract

Depending on specialty service availability at a given hospital, a young female is managed for her suspected ovarian teratoma differently, in relation to imaging performed, tumor markers measured and surgical approach. The goal of this study is to illustrate different surgical specialists' management of ovarian teratomas in children and adolescents at urban community, county, pediatric and university hospitals in a single metropolitan area.
