Evaluation and Improvement on Social Care Program for Family Caregivers: A Focus group interview

Abstract

연구목적: 본 연구는 돌봄가족 대상 사회적 돌봄사업 수행기관 종사자들의 경험을 바탕으로, 돌봄가족 대상 사업의 의미와 성과를 평가하고, 개선사항을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 2022년 4월 총 10명의 연구참여자를 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(focus group interview)를 시행하였고, 인터뷰 내용을 녹음 및 전사하여 주제분석방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 초점집단인터뷰 결과, 23개의 개념, 6개의 범주, 3개의 주제가 도출되었으며, 주제는 사회적 돌봄사업을 통한 변화, 사업수행의 어려움, 앞으로 나아가야 할 길이었다. 결론: 본 연구를 통해서 돌봄가족을 위한 사회적 돌봄사업의 의미와 필요성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 서비스를 제공하는 수행기관이 유의해야 할 점을 파악할 수 있었다. 돌봄대상자가 아닌 돌봄가족을 대상으로 한 사업이 미진한 현 시점에서, 이 같은 결과는 고령층을 돌보는 돌봄가족들을 위한 사업을 실시하는데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.Objective : This study seeks to explore the need for and improvement of the project for caregivers based on the experiences of workers in social care projects for caregivers. Methods : In this study, a focus group interview was conducted with a total of 10 research participants, and the interview contents were recorded and transcribed and analyzed by thematic analysis method. Results : As a result of the focus group interview, 23 themes, 6 theme clusters, and 3 categories were derived. The categories were changes through social care programs, difficulties in program execution, and the way forward. Conclusion : Through this study, it was possible to confirm the essence and necessity of social care for caregivers. It is expected that these results can be used as basic data to implement a program for caring families caring for the elderly.
