Abstract
Perturbative calculations in field theory at finite temperature involve sums over the Matsubara frequencies. The evaluation of such sums is an intricate task that, however, can be carried out systematically. This paper presents a symbolic manipulation code that deals with the very cumbersome algebraic expressions involved in a fast and reliable way.
