Abstract

Once formal training ends, the physician must strive to stay abreast of current changes and innovations in medical technology. Of the sources available for keeping current, journals may create difficulties for physicians not trained in research methodology. Physicians must be able to read research articles, evaluate the soundness of the investigation, interpret the results, and translate the results into practical programs that maximize health care delivery.
