Evaluating changes in tumor volume using MR and diffusion-weighted imaging during the course of radiotherapy treatment of high-grade gliomas

Abstract

Purpose/Objective: To evaluate early changes in tumor volume during the course of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy treatment (3DCRT) using MR and MR-diffusion-weighted imaging in order to determine the feasibility of predicting tumor response and the potential for re-defining the target volume during treatment.
