Abstract
Objective To evaluate the relationship between CD40/CD40 ligand(CD40L) and abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA), with which as the theory base and proof we may further study about the role of CD40-CD40L pathway in abdominal aortic aneurysm. Methods 30 abdominal aortic aneurysm patients in Guangdong General Hospital from 2013 to 2014 were enrolled into the experimental group and 26 healthy people into the control group.CD40/CD40L level in patients'blood were tested with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The statistical significance of the difference of CD40/CD40L was examined by the independent two-sample t-test. Results The serum CD40 and CD40L level in experimental group was(96. 20±26. 26)ng/L and(746. 20±215. 46)ng/L respectively, significantly higher than(76. 22±6. 39) ng/L and(503. 07±75. 32) ng/L in control group(P< 0. 05).
