Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of voice training therapy in the treatment of children vocal nodules by using voice acoustic detection under dynamic laryngoscope. Methods A total of 68 cases of children with vocal nodules were selected from the department of otolaryngology of the affiliated hospital of this hospital from January to December 2016. According to the random number table, the children were divided into Group A and Group B, 34 cases of each group.Group A was given routine treatment (drug therapy, basic behavioral intervention). Group B was given voice training based on Group A. Two groups of children underwent dynamic laryngoscopy, voice acoustic detection and children's voice disorder index scale were evaluated and analyzed before and after 3 months of treatment. Results After 3 months of treatment, the effective rate of group A was 76.50% and the B group was 94.10%, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After 3 months of treatment, the scores of jitter, shimmer and PVHI in the two groups were lower than before the treatment, and both the dysphonia severity index and the maximum phonation time were higher than before the treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Compared with Group A, Group B had significant improvement in function and emotion in the PVHI scale and the acoustic parameters, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Voice training therapy combined with drug therapy and basic behavior intervention has better therapeutic effect on vocal nodules in children. Key words: Children vocal nodules; Voice training; Voice acoustic assessment; Dynamic laryngoscope
