Abstract

Knowledge management (KM) is a significant tool and a critical resource to ensure the accomplishment of any project effectively. Detection of what is needed in terms of the knowledge, readiness level and overall understanding needed by a project can be successfully identified by various knowledge management tools. Early use of KM practices can be rewarding for the overall project. However, a collaborative knowledge management (KM) approach into project management is a challenging task that requires a clear understanding of the value of the knowledge management activities and how to integrate them within a project lifecycle. However, this study aims to evaluate and score the knowledge management (KM) activities that impact the implementation of knowledge management (KM) concept in project lifecycle including leadership, organization, technology, and learning based on project management experts point view using a hierarchical decision model (HDM).
