Abstract

In recent decades, performance in water sports has increasingly depended on the technological innovations applied in sports training. At present, coaches have few mechanisms to obtain objective quantitative and qualitative, operational and current information about the training carried out. This article presents a scientific-practical study on the application of the video and video-analysis method in the process of training 9-11 year-old swimmers. In order to achieve the objectives proposed in the research, was analyzed the literature on the mentioned issue and was conducted a survey based on the questionnaire, which aimed to highlight the opinions of coaches in the Republic of Moldova about the place and the importance of technical training of junior swimmers and methods of its evaluation.Also, this study proposes the application of an original device for obtaining objective information during training both in real time and with the possibility of signing up for a further detailed analysis of the recorded sequences.
