Abstract

A new mite species, Eustigmaeus seemani sp. nov., from western Iran (Rijab region, Kermanshah province) is described and illustrated based on females and males from soil and litter under apple trees. The male of Eustigmaeus segnis (Koch) from soil and litter under walnut trees (Rijab region, Kermanshah province) is described and Eustigmaeus rhodomela (Koch) (from mosses in Uormia vicinity, Western Azerbaijan province) is re-described and reported for the first time from Iran.
