Abstract

In the last decade, the use of EUS-FNA in the evaluation of lesions in the GI tract and adjacent organs has increased exponentially.1,2 The role of EUS-FNA for diseases of the colon and the rectum, however, is still limited,3 mainly because of the technical difficulty of inserting a conventional linear EUS (CLA-EUS) with an oblique optic above the sigmoid tract.3
