Abstract

The Key Competencies dealt with in this study is within the framework of “Education and Training 2010” work programme as a white paper “Key competences for lifelong learning: A European reference framework”. This document mentions eight key competencies: communication in the mother tongue, communication in foreign languages, mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology), digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and cultural awareness and expression. This article uses a qualitative approach and aims to find out and analyze the activities in common practice, related to the Key Competencies, carried out at Early Childhood Education level, using observation and document analysis.
