Abstract
In the article, the authors examine objects of scientific infrastructure, identify four types of large research infrastructures and analyze their functioning. Particular attention has paid to the study of practical experience and the specifics of organizing the work of research infrastructures in the EU, including the category of collective use of megascienceclass scientific complexes. The authors draw conclusions and recommendations on the use of the EU’s positive experience in this area for the organization of research infrastructure in Russia.

Информационной базой при проведении исследования служили: основы государственной политики в научно-технологической сфере и смежных областях; программные документы (государственные, федеральные и ведомственные целевые программы и т.д.), предусматривающие проведение научных исследований и разработок; дорожные карты, отчеты, планы, относящиеся к деятельности крупных исследовательских инфраструктур. Определение основных направлений стратегии развития европейских исследовательских инфраструктур проводилось на основе анализа рабочих программ Седьмой Рамочной программы ЕС и Рамочной программы «Горизонт 2020», официальных отчетов Европейского стратегического форума по исследовательским инфраструктурам, заключений экспертных групп, а также анализа мировой научной литературы
