Abstract
(Abstracted from Hum Reprod 2017:32:743–749) In the past 2 decades, genetic screening of thousands of human embryos following ovarian stimulation and in vitro fertilization has clearly demonstrated that the incidence of numeric chromosome abnormalities is very high, exceeding 50% of biopsied embryos. A majority of aneuploidies are meiotic in origin and maternal age related.
