Abstract
The 12th Annual Conference of our Association takes place in Oslo at a crucial moment for EUPHA. EUPHA is a scientific society which is developing steadily. After the successful conferences in Dresden and Rome, the large number of submitted abstracts and their excellent quality confirm that the conference through its plenaries, workshops and parallel sessions provides an interesting opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in the numerous fields of public health affecting so strongly the health of the European populations. On behalf of EUPHA, I would like to thank Professor Tellnes, Conference organiser and President-elect, his staff and the Norwegian Society of Public Health for organising this excellent Conference and the constructive collaboration in preparing it. As for the two past Conferences, the abstracts of the Oslo Conference are published in a supplement of the European Journal of Public Health (EJPH), the Official Journal of EUPHA.
