Abstract
Three new eudesmane-type sesquiterpene lactones, ent-α-cyclodihydrocostunolide, and densilobolide-A and -B, were isolated from the Japanese liverwort Frullania densiloba. Their structures were determined by extensive NMR techniques, chemical degradation and X-ray crystallographic analysis.
