Abstract

We describe a rigorous version of the formal functional calculus developed by R. Feynman in relation with his path integral formulation of Quantum Mechanics. Our approach is Euclidean but quite distinct from the usual one based on Feynman-Kac formula. A different probabilistic interpretation of the classical heat equation, suggested long ago by E. Schrodinger, that constitute the basis of our version of “Euclidean Quantum Mechanics”, is used instead.
