Abstract
The paper examines current sustainability impact assessments (SIAs) of EU trade agreements from a human rights perspective. It explores how the “Guiding Principles on Human Rights Impact Assessments of Trade and Investment Agreements” by Prof. De Schutter, (former) UN Special Rapporteur on the Right of Food, can be put into practice and applied to improve SIA methodology.
