Abstract
This is the fourth of a series of articles written by the author for Trusts & Trustees in connection with the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and the Beneficial Ownership Registers (BO Registers). With titles such as ‘A Call to Action’ and ‘A New Battle Front’, the previous articles set out the concerns surrounding the new rules. After more than three years of campaigning, an active challenge pertaining to these issues has been brought against HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of a client.
