Abstract
As in kinetic theory approach, we study the minimum entropy principle applied on the radiative transfer equation coupled with matter. As a result of this principle we present a hierarchy of closed systems of moments. Every member of the hierarchy is hyperbolic, flux-limited and possesses an entropy locally dissipated. Moreover, every member formally recovers the diffusion limit. The first model of the hierarchy is analyzed.
