Abstract
MnFe 2− x Sc x O 4 was studied by means of the Mössbauer effect. It was shown that Sc replaces Fe in octahedral sites only. Sc substitution results in the change of cationic distribution of a normal in the ferrite lattice. For the MnFe 1,3Sc 0,7O 4 sample the cationic distribution of a normal spinel was found.
