Abstract

This chapter explores historical events which impacted the development of current cultural relations between the Turks and Armenians in the Republic of Turkey. Zeytinoglu, Bonnabeau, and Eskinat recognize that despite the available information there is no single cause or model which can be readily applied to this situation. Current sentiments of Turkish Armenians are discussed and areas through which reconciliation may finally be reached are suggested.
