This dossier comprises reviews of five recently published Africanist ethnographies: some fully contemporary (by Ramon Sarro, Mike McGovern and Harry West); one previously unread (by David Webster); and, finally, a major classic re-edited in Portuguese (Junod’s Unicamp edition).
